Mardi Gras Gumbo
& Fat Tuesday
Join us in the St. Therese Little Flower Senior Center (lower level of the church) for two of our favorite events as we celebrate before the 40 Days of Lent Begin! Mardi Gras Gumbo will be offered on Feb. 13 (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.) for $15 per person (dine-in or carryout). Next is Fat Tuesday on Feb. 17 (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.). Welcome to St Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, a small urban core Roman Catholic Church with a big heart in the Blue Hills neighborhood of mid-town Kansas City, Missouri. We are a very faith-filled, diverse, spirit-led community that is small enough to be a very intimate and close-knit family yet large enough to serve our brothers and sisters in the community who are less fortunate than we are.
We are united at the Table of the Lord in the Eucharist. We enjoy being a family and the love and support that we can share. We enjoy fellowship and fun with our church family and are driven by a sense of justice and peace in our neighborhood and beyond.
Our diverse community joins as one spiritual family to praise the Lord each Sunday at 9 a.m. If you can't join us in person, please join us virtually by viewing our Catholic Mass livestream on our parish Facebook page.
